Leave, remain, indifferent, understandably people are getting a bit tired of Brexit.
For remainers the economy was meant to crash; for leavers the process was meant to be seamless and triumphant, while in truth we’re bogged down with bureaucracy.
Perhaps this apathy is the main reason Britons want the process over with, once and for all.
According to the latest data from BMG, 57% agree that “the government should get on with implementing the result of the referendum to take Britain out of the EU and in doing so take back control of our borders, laws, money and trade”.
Just 22% disagree.
It’s a clear mandate from the public: whatever our personal take on the issue, the government needs to get on with delivering Brexit, and quickly.
